Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Coach to lead our team of fitness professionals. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the training programs, mentoring coaches, and ensuring a high-quality experience for all VYB Active members.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Development and Oversight:
- Design, implement, and monitor fitness programs tailored to diverse member needs and fitness levels.- Continuously update training methods based on the latest fitness research and trends.
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and mentor a team of fitness coaches and instructors.- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to ensure professional growth.
Member Experience:
- Oversee personalized training programs and ensure members receive individualized attention and guidance.- Address member concerns or feedback and create strategies to enhance satisfaction and retention.
Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all training practices adhere to safety standards and guidelines.- Monitor equipment use and maintenance to provide a safe training environment.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the management team to align fitness programs with business goals.- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote fitness initiatives and special programs.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Track program effectiveness through metrics and member feedback.- Prepare regular reports on team performance and member engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, Kinesiology, Physical Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).- Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) or equivalent certification (e.g., ACSM, NASM, ACE).- Proven experience as a head coach or senior fitness instructor in a similar role, preferably in a high-end fitness center.- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.- Strong understanding of fitness assessment techniques, training methodologies, and safety protocols.- Passion for health, fitness, and mentoring others.
